AN History
Founded at Washington State University on February 27, 2008, Alpha Nu Multicultural Sorority Incorporated became the first multiculturally founded organization on that campus and the only multiculturally founded sorority in the state at the time. The seven founding Mothers: Perla Fletes-Houston, Yuliana (Alvarez) Garcia, Andrea (Walter) Lowe, Joyce (McMahan) Erickson, Brenda (Meza) Gonzalez, Karina Rojas-Rodriguez, and Camille Martinez (Wall) came from a variety of ethnic backgrounds uniting under the purpose empower women of all walks of life.
Today, Alpha Nu Multicultural Sorority Inc. continues to thrive and grow. Women from different backgrounds have chosen this affiliation as the pillars of leadership, unity, scholarship, sisterhood, and multiculturalism closely correlate to their life goals.
